我昨天看到個人，胖得出格 ，人人都會注意他，原來是外國人。

原來英文句要用連結的詞把裡面的各個詞連起來，說明其關係，我們中國人不用。

You will regret unless you change you mind.

除非你改變主意，你就會後悔。

你會後悔的，還是改變主意吧。

很多人看了原文，要「忠實」地譯出來，unless 一定要譯成「除非」，untill, till一定要譯成「直到…為止」。只能說是另一種話的人的習慣不同，意思一樣。

設想自已是某一人

有些話沒有辨法譯得像中文的。

例如：empathy 同情、同感、共鳴，

它的原意要用一句話才能表明，

就是設想自己是某一人或物，有和這個人或物化而為一的能力，

經過這樣一段想，也就全懂得那個人或物。

現在心理學把它譯成「神入」、「感情移入」、「移情」，也算高明了，

可是這些譯文大家讀了都不能立刻就懂，也就像外國語。

1. It is common that an articles is followed by a noun. Note that when translating, you should over translate a or the and just simply skip the literal words.

2. Add an object between subjects and transitive verbs.

3. Be careful of translating the word "challenge" 

Ex, the new job is quite a challenge to me. 

這個新工作是對我很大的挑戰。

新工作我很不容易對付呢。

我著實要盡心竭力地去做才好呢。

Ex, He raised the issue to challenge us.

…向我們挑戰。

他提出問題來跟我們為難。
